Live audio rooms — rules & limits

Live audio rooms are focus sessions where members work alongside each other with audio. They are part of the Effy productivity workspace and are not a dating or matchmaking service.

Hosting quotas

• Free plan: 1 room per rolling 24 hours. The allowance returns 24 hours after your oldest hosted room.
• Effy Pro: unlimited rooms.
• Joining an existing room is unlimited on every plan.

Email verification

Before hosting or joining a room you must confirm your email address using the verification link we send at sign-up. You can resend the link from the sign-in screen at any time.

Moderation and acceptable use

Hosts can mute participants, move them between stage and audience, and remove them. Illegal content, harassment, spam and recording other participants without consent are prohibited and can lead to suspension, as described in our Terms.
