How to install
- 1Download Effy-Setup.exe below.
- 2Run the installer — it installs Effy for your user account, no admin rights needed.
- 3A shortcut is added to your desktop and Start menu automatically.
- 4Windows SmartScreen may warn on first launch — click “More info” → “Run anyway”.
Is this download safe?
Windows may show “Effy-Setup.exe is not commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust Effy-Setup.exe before you open it.” That is Microsoft SmartScreen’s reputation warning for a new installer that has not been downloaded many times yet — it is not a virus detection. Choose Keep in the browser, then More info → Run anyway.
- The installer is published by Effy and served only from this page over HTTPS.
- It contains no server keys or credentials — it opens effy.today in a desktop window.
- Installation is per-user; it never asks for administrator rights.
